My name is Phil McCoy. I’m a creative project manager and filmmaker with agency, freelance and in-house experience. I am deeply interested in achieving excellence in my work—seeking to engage, inspire and activate target audiences, stakeholders and the creative team at the highest levels. I’m your “go-to” guy for fresh ideas, leadership, organization, honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, follow-through, and brilliant execution.
A significant portion of my career was spent working for top lean-manufacturing leaders where the principles of the Toyota Production System were taught and practiced relentlessly. This invaluable experience infused me with a strong desire for organizational excellence, talent development, reliable methods, and continuous improvement. I am passionate about creating the best and most compelling media experiences possible with an empowered and well developed team. I believe firmly that “none of us are as great as all of us”—we succeed as a team—delivering our best work on time, on message, on budget. And then we celebrate results.
I’m a northwest native and my love for evergreen trees, water and mountain views is strong. You may find me on a hiking trail near a waterfall with my camera, or at the upcoming Imogen Heap concert, skiing at Stevens Pass, watching the latest installment of Star Wars, Marvel Studios or Oscar nominated film, or hanging out at Alki Beach.
